Activity Run Status

An activity run can either be successful or failed. This is indicated by the green tick or the red cross marks respectively as highlighted in the following figures:

To check the details of the last run, expand the schema and group to view activities/checklists, click on the vertical ellipsis as highlighted in the following figure:

Click on View Last Run as highlighted in the following figure:

The following screen will be displayed:

It includes the following information:

  • Activity name, the name of the activity is displayed as highlighted in the following figure:

The vertical ellipsis next to the activity name (highlighted in the following figure) will provide various options (refer figure Fig 1.8):

    • Run Now: Allows to execute the activity.

    • View All Runs: Provides a list of all previous runs.

    • View All Versions: Provides a list of all activity versions.

    • Edit Activity: This option allows us to make any change in the activity. i.e. change in the activity name, change in the group name, setting preset values and so on.

    • Purge this run: This option deletes this activity run information from the database.


  • Next to the ellipsis is the timestamp of the activity execution as highlighted in the following figure:

Timestamp includes how many days before the activity was executed, date, time, and by which user the activity was executed (admin1 in this case).

  • The status of the activity (Succeeded/Failed), Time taken indicates the duration of time for which the activity was executed.

  • BACK option allows to go back to the previous page, RUN AGAIN allows to run the activity again, however while running the activity again, the input files and details of the current run will be displayed in the input fields by default, this can be modified.

In the preceding figure, test_sheetkraft is the activity name, the ellipses beside the activity name provides various options as shown in the following figure, Last run allows to go back to the activity run status page for the last run.(Fig 1.5):

  • View All Runs: Provides a list of all previous runs.

  • View All Versions: Provides a list of all activity versions.

  • Edit: This option allows us to make any change in the activity, that is, change in the activity name, change in the group name, setting preset values and so on.


For successful activity:

Download all output files option as highlighted in the preceding figure enables to download all the output files that are generated from the activity run.

If the activity generates the output, the Outputs section is expanded by default unlike the Inputs section. And if there is no output generated by the activity run, there will be no Outputs section.

Outputs dropdown includes a download button (files) which allows to download all the output file together. Following the files download button are the output files which can be downloaded individually.

Inputs dropdown includes all the input files which are downloadable and input entries provided by the user while running the activity which is visible by expanding the Inputs dropdown option.

For failed activity:

Clicking on Download all output files option as highlighted in the preceding figure, we get a message Nothing to download as highlighted in the following figure, this is because the run was not executed successfully and hence no output files are generated:

Following the Download all output files option, there is an Error Report download button, clicking on which an excel file containing the list of errors is downloaded. Below the Error Report download button, there is a list of errors because of which the activity was not executed successfully.

Inputs dropdown includes all the input files which are downloadable and input entries provided by the user while running the activity which is visible by expanding the Inputs dropdown option as shown in the following figure:

The Outputs dropdown list is expanded by default, however there are no output files displayed since the activity was not executed successfully.
