Dynamic Charts

A chart in Microsoft Excel is a tool that allows you to visually display data in a variety of different formats such as Bar, Column, Pie, Line, Area, Scatter, Surface, or Radar charts. Sheetkraft helps to create dynamic charts that are automatically updated with any changes in the source data.

The following steps show how dynamic charts can be created using Sheetkraft.

Step 1

Given below is a raw dataset (see figure below):

Use Import function to import the data.

Step 3

Create a chart of your preference using Excel functions

a. Select the data range.

b. On the Insert tab, in the Charts group, click the Bar/Column symbol.

c. Click Clustered Columns

d. The Result will be as follows:

Select the Chart

Step 5

Select Chart from Make Excel Operation Dynamic under the More Tab under Sheetkraft.

Step 6

A dialogue Box appears. It contains the data range of all the data fields of the dataset in use.

Make sure that data ranges are correct. After ensuring the same click on OK.

Our Dynamic Chart has been generated.

Step 7

Checking the authenticity of the Dynamic Chart.

a. Return back to the raw data and update the same and save it.

b. Now use the Run Book Command to execute the process.

c. We will see that the chart has been updated.
